Module GoFree WIFI-1- Simrad (000-11068-001)

The WIFI-1 is a wireless bridge that adds GoFree™ wireless functionality to compatible Simrad multifunction displays, including the complete NSS evo2 range, and NSO evo2 modular systems*.

GoFree™ functionality includes direct access to the GoFree™ Shop and Insight Genesis map-creation service from your display, remote viewing of your display from compatible iOS and Android smartphones, and remote control from compatible iOS and Android tablets.

This low profile Wi-Fi gateway may be small, but it packs a punch well above its weight, allowing multiple tablets or smartphones to be used to view Simrad network data. The WIFI-1 connects to Simrad Multifunction Displays via Ethernet and supports wireless connectivity using 802.11 b+g wireless protocols.

A number of Simrad Multifunction Display units can be used with just one WIFI-1 module, meaning that an entire system can be online with just the addition of one handy wireless gateway.

* In order to work in conjunction with the WIFI-1 module, your Simrad multifunction display must have the latest software update installed. Find your model on the Downloads page for free software download and installation instructions.
